COMO Maalifushi Maldives is the first and only resort to open on the unspoilt Thaa Atoll, in the archipelago’s southern reaches. Our resort team will meet you at the Malé International Airport (MLE) arrivals hall and be on hand for assistance. Resort guests are also welcome to use the Manta Air VIP lounge with Wi-Fi, satellite television, shower facilities, snacks and drinks. You will then be taken to our resort via a 60-minute seaplane transfer from Malé International Airport. The flight is a sight-seeing experience, with spectacular aerial views of the archipelago.

CORAL PROPAGATION
Established in 2017, the Coral Restoration Programme at COMO Maalifushi Maldives aims to enhance the local marine ecosystem through systematic coral reef restoration efforts.
We actively monitor 202 coral frames in the Maalifushi House Reef and the COMO Maalifushi Garden, and have successfully transplanted over 9,500 coral fragments, with the Acropora species representing the predominant variety. We are using four different sizes of coral frames, from small frames that cover 115 centimetres, to the largest frames that measure 220 centimetres in diameter.
A total of 395 guests have participated in the coral propagation experience by adopting a frame and receiving routine updates on their frame’s coral growth.
